We’re excited to announce the launch of our first PoP in Hungary, located at Dataplex (Magyar Telekom Cloud & DataCenter) in Budapest (Asztalos Sandor utca 13., 1087). This expansion strengthens our presence in Central Europe, enhancing connectivity and capacity for our customers across the region.
The Budapest PoP offers a full suite of high-performance connectivity services, including:
- GNM-IX Internet Exchange. Our globally distributed, secure IX network, interconnecting over 600 ASNs with a peak traffic load of 9 Tbps.
- IP Transit. High-speed, direct access to Tier-1 ISPs for premium internet connectivity.
- DWDM System and Wavelength Services. Scalable transport solutions leveraging our 18,000 km DWDM backbone.
All services are available with flexible port options: 10G, 40G, 100G, and 400G.
Seamlessly integrated into our European backbone, the Budapest PoP connects directly to our Bratislava and Sofia hubs, providing resilient and low-latency routes throughout the region. This addition further strengthens our presence in Central Europe, opening new opportunities for customers in Hungary, the Balkans, and beyond.
With the Budapest PoP now live, we’re continuing to develop new backbone routes and launch additional PoPs. Expect more strategic expansions soon, further enhancing global connectivity and network resilience.
