The GNM Team are pleased to announce a new milestone in GNM-IX traffic growth at our Frankfurt node. This month, Frankfurt's network load has grown to 2 Tbps, significantly contributing to the overall 8.7 Tbps network peak load. This important update highlights the increasing demand for reliable peering solutions in the region and indicates a positive trend for growth in the future.
To maintain the integrity of increased Internet Exchange data volumes coming from all around Europe, the GNM Team have established new high-capacity DWDM routes between the data centers in the city. This will allow customers to gain benefits from protected connections both in different cities (e.g., Frankfurt - Stockholm) and within Frankfurt itself. These are not just our single city POPs but Internet hubs connected to different routes: FRA15 in the direction of Berlin and Stockholm, and FR5 in the direction of Amsterdam.
Responding to the escalating traffic for GNM-IX, the GNM Team have upgraded our Frankfurt Digital Realty FRA15 Point of Presence to a modern 400G port. In addition to our backbone infrastructure, we provide a complete connectivity solution with the highest possible capacity of the corresponding port. This enhancement ensures that our infrastructure not only meets current demands but also supports scalable peering connections for our clients.
Take advantage of these upgrades by joining the GNM-IX network today. Until the end of summer, we're offering free 10G and 100G ports for GNM-IX connection. Contact us at sales@gnm.net to arrange your free test and unlock enhanced connectivity capabilities.
